How do I book an appointment?

Call 210 7793103 or 210 7705255, or fill in the appointment request form and we will contact you.

Where is the practice?

22 Kifisias Avenue, 6th floor, Ampelokipi, 115 26 Athens.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Your recent imaging tests (X-rays, MRI or CT scans, with their CDs or links), previous medical reports and a list of the medicines you take.

At which hospitals does the doctor operate?

At partner medical centres such as Eugenideio Hospital and Metropolitan General. You can find their details on the Contact page.

Is robotic joint replacement safe?

Yes. The TSolution One® system is approved by the US FDA. The robot carries out the plan approved by the surgeon and stops immediately if it detects even the slightest movement of the bone.

How long does a joint replacement last?

Modern knee and hip implants work well for 15–20 years or even longer, depending on the patient’s age and activity level.

When will I walk after a joint replacement?

With the Fast-Track protocol, most patients get up and walk with a walking frame a few hours after surgery, and usually without support from the following day.

Will I need a lot of physiotherapy?

Less than with older techniques. After knee replacement, around 5 home sessions are usually needed.

I live outside Athens or abroad. Can I have surgery?

Yes. Many of our patients come from other parts of Greece and from abroad. After discharge, the doctor also monitors your recovery remotely by mobile phone.

Are any operations done as a day case?

Yes. Knee arthroscopy under local anaesthesia, removal of calcific deposits and microdiscectomy are usually performed as a day case, without a hospital stay.
